							<description><![CDATA[<a title="Yolanda Relief Operations" href="http://www.philchamp.com/gallery/index.php?album=Yolanda-Relief-Operations/"><img border="0" src="http://www.philchamp.com/gallery/cache/Yolanda-Relief-Operations/DSC_0068_240_thumb.jpg" alt="Yolanda Relief Operations" /></a><p>Yolanda Relief Operations (103 images)</p><p><span>On November 8, 2013 Typhoon Yolanda (international name Haiyan) made landfall in the Philippines, causing devastating damage to several areas including Samar, Leyte, Northern Cebu, Iloilo, Surigao, Masbate and other smaller neighboring islands.</span><br /><br /><span>Philchamp deployed relief goods like water, canned goods, sleeping mats, slippers, blankets, flashlights, and solar panels for temporary power.  Distribution was coursed through GMA-7's Kapuso Foundation and local churches.  Aside from physical relief goods, Philchamp trucks were also deployed to transport much-needed items to the typhoon victims' remote locations.   </span><br /><br /><span>Next phase will be in helping out in the reconstruction process.
